CAN I TRAIN WITH AN INJURY?
Most of the things that are wrong with our bodies are the result of how we move. Your knee doesn’t hurt because there is something wrong with your knee. It hurts because your foot shifts inward when you walk. Or your stride is shorter on that side. So you’ve developed default muscles in order to support this imbalance. Our job is to diagnose small flaws like this and essentially undo them. Turn off the default muscles and turn on the muscles that will pull you back into proper form. So yes, depending on the severity, you can absolutely train with an injury. But the strategy won’t be to work around it. The strategy will be to solve it.
